Award of HP Distinction in a Pathway

1.      Students must complete 15 or more credits of qualified HP coursework that include six or more credits specified for an HP Pathway, below.

2.      Students must earn a letter grade of "B" or better for all six credits.

3.      No credits may be counted toward more than one HP Pathway.

4.      PURA audit credits may not be counted toward any HP Pathway.

5.      Up to a total of three HP-authorized non-HP study abroad course credits may be counted toward the HP Pathway in Global Engagement.*

6.      VIP letter-grade credits may be counted toward the HP Pathway in Research.

7.      Up to a total of three HP-authorized independent research course credits may be counted toward the HP Pathway in Research.**

8.      Credits for all courses listed for each HP Pathway below may be counted toward that HP Pathway.

GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT

Students may count up to three HP-Authorized Non-HP Summer Study Abroad Credits.

NOTE FOR OXFORD PROGRAM STUDENTS: Honors Program students who attend the Oxford Study Abroad Program may count either MUSI 3621 (Musicians and Their Music) or ID 2242 (History of Art II) toward the HP curricular requirement and toward the HP Pathway in Global Engagement.
