In his role, he oversees the day-to-day residential experience and fosters a vibrant, supportive environment. Octavio works closely with a team of 17 Resident Assistants to build community. He also advises the 8th Street Hall Council, empowering student leaders to create initiatives that enhance residential experience and strengthen community engagement.  

Octavio holds a BS in Biology and MS in Higher Education Leadership. Octavio also serves as a Lead Coordinator for the Housing and Residence Life Professional Development and Engagement Committee.
